Erling Haaland and a new generation of the Chronomat

The new collection is presented by Erling Haaland, who represents the spirit of performance and determination associated with the Chronomat. Raised in Bryne, Norway, Haaland made his professional debut at just 15 years old and quickly became known for his explosive speed, precise finishing, and impressive physical presence.

His career has made him one of the most dominant forwards in modern football, standing out for a mindset focused on overcoming challenges and achieving new goals, values that connect with the philosophy of a watch created to accompany those who seek performance without giving up style.

One of the main updates of the new Chronomat can be found in its bezel. Breitling has integrated the insert, screws, and securing tabs into a single piece, reducing its 18 previous components to one element. This evolution maintains the raised securing tabs and allows for smooth operation and effortless handling.

Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42: mechanical power and precision

The Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42 represents the sportiest version of this new collection. Its case combines stainless steel and platinum, with a 42 mm diameter and a thickness of 13.77 mm, offering a balanced presence on the wrist.

Inside, it features the Breitling 01 manufacture caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Its chronograph function allows the measurement of time intervals with 1/4 second precision, while also offering a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour totalizer. It also includes a calendar through an aperture on the dial.

The model offers water resistance of 20 bars, equivalent to 200 meters, thanks to its construction featuring a screwed-in caseback with sapphire crystal, a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, and a sapphire crystal. Its unidirectional bezel and stainless steel bracelet complete a watch designed for different environments.

Chronomat B31 Automatic 40: a more elegant and versatile version

The Chronomat B31 Automatic 40 offers a more compact interpretation of the collection without losing its personality. Its stainless steel and platinum case measures 40 mm in diameter and 10.99 mm in thickness, providing a more refined profile for those who prefer more contained dimensions.

This model features the Breitling B31 manufacture caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement with approximately 78 hours of power reserve. Like the Chronograph 42, it includes a calendar through an aperture on the dial, sapphire crystal, a screwed-in caseback with sapphire crystal, and water resistance of 20 bars.

Its unidirectional bezel maintains the raised securing tabs, while the stainless steel bracelet completes the design of a collection recognized for balancing functionality and aesthetics.

With the Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42 and the Chronomat B31 Automatic 40, Breitling offers two different ways of interpreting the same concept.
